Ash only accepts 1 XXL muslin custom commission per month. The collaborative communication is done via text and updates are given regularly.

COMMISSION PROCESS & LEAD TIME

Once customizations are finalized most backdrops require no more than 1 week to complete (+time for gathering supplies, design, color sampling, and shipping) while more detailed, multi-piece collections can take longer. We'll discuss scope of your backdrop requests and quote accordingly.

We offer last minute rushes when schedule allows, please inquire.

REFERENCING INSPIRATION

We kindly ask that inspiration images for commissions come from nature, your own images, colors, architecture and from our own catalogue and archive. Do NOT send inspiration that references other backdrop or surface painters.

List prices represent the base cost for the commissioned backdrops.

PROCESS TIMES

First come, first served. Once approved and payment is received your commission backdrop will be added to our studio schedule and an estimated completion date will be communicated. Rush upgrades are considered on a case-by-case basis and range from $250-$500

SHIPPING

US clients: UPS/Fed Ex shipping ranges from $50-$200+ depending on carrier, speeds, and your location. Once your commission is complete we will work with you to calculate costs and offer the best price directly to you.

International clients: We are happy to quote UPS/DHL shipping estimates so you can plan accordingly. Final shipping fees will be invoiced directly once your backdrop is ready to ship.
