Inspired by a shared love of photography and texture Ultraviolet Backdrops started as a messy, see-what-happens experiment in 2019.
Supported by the diverse photographer community in Utah, Matthew began teaching backdrop courses to photographers and creating custom commissions for photographers. In the 2020 pivot we started painting full time and took our business online.
Our canvas and muslin backdrops are hand painted in our Utah studio and serve as creative prompts for photographers, stylists, and designers worldwide.
