Ultraviolet Backdrops x Hasselblad Ballet

To say Hasselblad Ballet is an ambitious project would be an understatement.

David Teran’s Hasselblad Ballet documents ballerinas around the world in seemingly effortless athletic poses through an iconic 1969 Hasselblad in keen compositional style.

Traveling from Cuba to Nashville, Argentina to Paris David has shot, developed, and curated this project from start to finish. The result? An impressive collection of images boasting striking compositions, intriguing uses of light and place serving inspiration for photographers, travelers, dancers, and artists alike.
